This condo is located directly across the street from the entrance to the Flamingo Marina Resort in the heart of Flamingo and a short walk from Flamingo beach and the Flamingo Beach Resort.
World-famous Flamingo Beach is in Costa Rica's Gold Coast along the Pacific Ocean in the province of Guanacaste. It is one of Costa Rica's original beach communities, and over the years, has maintained its upscale style.
Costa Rica's traditions of peace, democracy, and universal education have long attracted retirees and vacation home owners. The nation is also a world leaders in ecological preservation, boasting proportionately more square miles of national parks than anywhere else on earth. In spite of its low cost of living, Costa Rica offers all the modern conveniences that discriminating international travelers expect and demand.
The community of Playa Flamingo is served by restaurants, nightclubs, casinos, shops, grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, and beauty salons.
Flamingo is about 45 miles from the international airport in Liberia, also known as the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (airport code LIR). From the airport, cars or taxis can be hired. (See Frequently Asked Questions for more details).
The San Jose International Airport, also known as the Juan Santamaria International Airport (airport code SJO) is about 4 1/2 hours away. The San Jose Internation Airport is the larger of the two, but the Liberia airport is the most convienent.
The Tamarindo regional airport is 15 minutes away and there are several flights daily between Tamarindo and San Jose on Nature Air. Its a great way to get a unique view of Costa Rica without the long drive from San Jose.

Flamingo is centrally located between Potrero & Brasilito, adjacent to Potrero Bay. Playas Grande, Tamarindo, and Langosta are all near -- about 15 miles away.
Flamingo Beach has the whitest beach on Costa Rica's Pacific coast -- uniquely with a pinkish tint you've never seen anywhere else. Flamingo Beach, with its warm ocean and calm surf, offers safe swimming. Much of Costa Rica's Pacific coast provides good surfing, but Flamingo Beach is not a surf beach. But what makes good surfing, makes unsafe swimming - large waves, rip tides, etc. If surfing is your thing, Tamarindo & Langosta Beaches are near.
Flamingo offers necessary modern conviences with a pharmacy, bank (ATM & currency exchange), grocery store, hardware store, and more within the community. Some of the services in Flamingo include:
